  • Russ Freund recently finished building a '34 Ford and '23 Ford Model T Roadster with his father Claude Freund who died unexpectedly on April 27. "The greatest thing my father taught me about hot rods really isn't much to do with hot rods. He taught me how to find good friends," Russ said. "He was a very giving man. He believed that if you give a little something to one guy it will come around again full term." This year's River City Rod Run is dedicated to the memory of Claude and the cars he's showcased over the years.
