Despite bleeding through his gastric tube, Dick would live three more weeks to complete his "to-do" list -- which included flying Nancy's daughter in for a visit and marrying Nancy.

Curran took the dog to Hayden Pet Medical Center where it had to be euthanized due to its condition which is thought to be caused by abuse and neglect. The dog had a large tumor on its abdomen that dragged the ground when it walked, overgrown nails, was severely malnourished and major dental problems.

I don't joke around with every family. But for Dick and Nancy, that's how they are so I try to relate to them on that level to make them more comfortable."
