John Chamness and his wife Lani took the lead for the Salvation Army Kroc Corps Community Center in Coeur dâAlene during the projects initial proposals in 2006 and have been directing the center since its opening in 2009. The husband and wife team have been promoted to new positions as divisional commanders for the Salvation Army in Oahu, Hawaii and are scheduled to leave Coeur d'Alene in June.
