Prairie players Derek Tymesen, left, and Kurt South have emerged as team leaders this season for the Cardinals. The duo spent their high school baseball careers playing against each other as South played for Lakeland and Tymesen attended Timberlake High. Now the two attend Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, Wash. and are roommates and play together on the school's baseball team.
