Kelan McKeirnan, an off-duty Coeur d'Alene firefighter, helps straighten a hose Tuesday as other firefighters from Coeur d'Alene and Kootenai County fire agencies orchestrate efforts to extinguish a garage fire at the 2000-block of Greenleaf Avenue in Coeur d'Alene. McKeirnan, who lives in the area, saw the smoke and flames from his house and helped on scene until rescue personnel arrived. There were no injuries reported in the fire which is still under investigation.
